On the April 18th game against the Yokohama Bay Stars, Tomoaki Kanemoto ended his streak of consecutive full inning games played at 1492. Surpassing the legendary Cal Ripken Jr's record of 903, Kanemoto now holds the world record that may forever be a part of baseball history.
